India's Pioneer in Psychiatric Rehabilitation & Mental Health Care
Founded in 1992 by Shri Ramesh Cadabam in memory of his late sister Amitha, Cadabams is India's largest private mental healthcare organisation. Over three decades, it has grown into a comprehensive provider of psychiatric care, de-addiction services, and psychosocial rehabilitation across Bangalore, Hyderabad, and internationally in the Maldives. Cadabams operates multiple specialised centres including hospitals, residential rehabilitation facilities, outpatient clinics, and a supported employment programme (Neeraja). Its mission is to enable access to quality mental healthcare for all, destigmatise mental illness, and support patients with reintegrating into society. Cadabams has a multidisciplinary team of over 550 professionals serving more than 200,000 individuals and families.
Artek Surfin Chemicals Ltd. and The Beniprasad Goenka Foundation initiated its partnership with Cadabams in 2021–22, providing support toward medical treatment and annual caretaking costs for patients in need. This has since developed into a structured programme of ongoing monthly contributions covering medical expenses, psychiatric care, rehabilitation support, and treatment costs. This commitment has been maintained continuously from 2022–23 through to 2025–26, reflecting a deliberate, long-term investment in mental health access.
