Upliftment of Rural & Tribal Communities — Rajasthan
Upekshit Kshetra Utthan Nyaas (meaning 'Trust for the Upliftment of Neglected Areas') is a charitable trust operating in Rajasthan, dedicated to the development of rural and tribal communities that have historically been underserved. The organisation focuses on school construction, rural area upliftment, and distribution of solar lanterns and essential resources to remote communities. Through its ongoing school project in Rajasthan, the trust has been instrumental in providing physical infrastructure that enables children in rural villages to access formal education. Its work complements government efforts to universalise primary education in some of Rajasthan's most deprived regions.
Artek Surfin Chemicals Ltd’s ; engagement commenced in January 2018, with the distribution of 840 solar lanterns to rural communities in Rajasthan, enabling students to study after dark and improving household utility. Support for school infrastructure continued through 2021–22. From 2023–24, the Beniprasad Goenka Foundation extended significant contributions toward school construction — including a contribution in March 2024 and continued support for the ongoing school project through January 2025.
